Where is Korea?

The Korean Peninsula, approximately 1,030 kilometers long and 175 kilometers wide at its narrowest point, is situated in Northeast Asia. Seoul, the capital city, lies at the heart of this country, which spans a total land area of 100,363 square kilometers. Korea is bordered by Japan to the east, China to the west, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) to the north.

Population of Korea

As of August 2021, Korea's total population is approximately 51.82 million, with a significant portion residing in the Seoul metropolitan area. Other major cities such as Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, and Ulsan also have high population densities and significantly contribute to the country's economic strength.
